What this site is

RemoveClothing is an independent editorial publication that tests AI virtual try-on and AI fashion imagery tools and publishes numeric scores for them. It is not a software vendor, a reseller, or an agent of any tool covered here.

Rankings and scores are editorial opinion, formed by applying a published methodology to hands-on testing. They are not statements of objective fact and not a guarantee that any tool will perform the same way for you.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links to tool vendors are affiliate links. If you follow one and subscribe, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate revenue and hosted advertising are how this site is funded.

Affiliate relationships have no influence on scoring, ranking order, or whether a limitation is published. No vendor can pay for placement, for a higher score, or for the removal of a documented weakness. Commission rates are never an input to the scoring model.

We buy or self-fund every subscription we test. We do not accept vendor-provided review accounts, equity, advisory roles, or paid consulting from companies we cover.

Accuracy of information and pricing

Prices, features and scores reflect what we observed and verified on the date stated on each page. This category changes quickly: vendors ship breaking model updates, revise pricing and change licensing terms without notice.

Always confirm current pricing and license terms on the vendor's own site before purchasing. We re-verify pricing monthly and re-test tools on every major model release, but there will be windows where our figures lag reality.

Editorial scope and exclusions

RemoveClothing covers compliant, safe-for-work virtual try-on and fashion-imagery tools only. Applications whose primary purpose is producing non-consensual or explicit imagery are permanently excluded from every ranking, table and article on this site, and that exclusion is not open to vendor appeal.

We also exclude tools with no written commercial license and tools that claim ownership over uploaded photographs.

Acceptable use

You may read, share and link to our content freely. You may quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page.

You may not republish substantial portions of our content, scrape the site at a rate that degrades service for other readers, reproduce our score data as your own, or use the site to distribute malware or unlawful material.

Third-party tools and links

We do not control the tools we review or the sites we link to. Your use of any third-party tool is governed entirely by that vendor's terms and privacy policy, including how it handles images you upload.

We are not responsible for a vendor's pricing changes, service outages, data handling, output quality or business conduct.

AI-generated imagery and compliance

Content on this site describes tools that generate synthetic imagery. Using such imagery commercially carries obligations that vary by platform and jurisdiction: Amazon, for example, requires AI-generated images to be labeled and prohibits them as the main listing image.

You are responsible for meeting the labeling, licensing and consumer-protection requirements that apply to your listings. Nothing on this site is legal advice.

Limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RemoveClothing is not liable for any loss arising from decisions made on the basis of our content, including purchasing a tool that does not meet your needs.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Corrections and vendor appeals

Errors are corrected within 72 hours of verification, with a visible correction note on the affected page. Report one to hello@removeclothing.com.

Vendors may dispute a score by supplying evidence, and we will re-test the tool against the same control set. We do not delete reviews, and we do not amend a score without re-testing.

Intellectual property

Editorial content, scoring data, test imagery and site design are the property of RemoveClothing. Tool names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
