Privacy Policy
What RemoveClothing collects, why we collect it, who processes it and how to have it deleted. Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

What we collect
RemoveClothing collects the minimum data needed to run a newsletter and a website. When you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter, plus the optional name and role fields if you choose to fill them in, and the page you subscribed from.
For every submission we also record the submitting IP address and the country derived from it. This is a spam-prevention measure, stored alongside the submission and not used for profiling or advertising.
We do not collect payment information, because nothing on this site is sold to visitors.
How we use it
Email addresses are used to send the monthly newsletter and nothing else. There is no drip sequence, no partner mailing, and no separate promotional list.
Name and role, where provided, help us understand which segments of the audience read which content so we can prioritise coverage. They are never published or shared.
IP and country are used to detect and block automated submissions, and are retained with the submission record.
Spam protection
Form submissions may be verified with Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused challenge that does not track users across sites or build advertising profiles. When enabled, Turnstile receives a challenge token and the request metadata needed to assess whether the submission is automated.
Affiliate links and outbound tracking
Some outbound links to tool vendors are affiliate links. When you follow one, the destination vendor may set its own cookie to attribute the visit. That happens on the vendor's domain and under the vendor's privacy policy, not ours.
Affiliate relationships have no influence on scores, ranks or published limitations. This is stated above the fold on every ranking page and in our terms of use.
Third-party processors
The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which processes requests and stores site data on our behalf. Email delivery for the newsletter is handled by an email service provider that processes subscriber addresses solely to send the issues we compose.
We choose processors that do not resell or repurpose the data they handle for us.
Data retention
Subscriber records are kept for as long as the subscription is active, and are deleted on unsubscribe request. Submission metadata, including IP and country, is retained with the record and removed at the same time.
Aggregate analytics data contains no identifying information and is retained in aggregate form only.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold about you at any time. Every newsletter issue also carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you immediately.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights, including the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We honour these requests regardless of jurisdiction.
Audience and age
RemoveClothing is written for an adult professional audience (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes materially, we update the effective date at the top of the page and describe the change. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
